Backup can be performed to the following targets:
• Direct Attached Storage (DAS) connected to the backup repository server, including USB drives.
• Network Attached Storage (NAS) able to represent itself as CIFS (SMB) share (direct operation), or NFS share (must be mounted on Linux backup repository server).
• Storage Area Network (SAN). Backup repository server must be connected directly into SAN fabric via hardware HBA or software iSCSI initiator, and the corresponding volumes must be seen in the Microsoft Windows Disk Management snap-in).

1. Запускаем Veeam_Backup_Setup_x64.exe (Veeam_Backup_Setup_x86.exe)
2. При запросе лицензии запускаем keygen.exe и нажимаем на кнопку "Patch", при этом производится патчинг veComLic32.dll и veComLic64.dll.
3. Не закрывая keygen.exe генерим нужную нам лицензию и выбираем ее. Или используем готовую.
4. После завершения инсталляции останавливаем службы Veeam. Это производится нажатием на кнопку "Service" в keygen.exe, или стандартными средствами ОС через оснастку services.msc.
5. Запускаем заново keygen.exe если он не запущен и нажимаем на кнопку "Patch", при этом производится патчинг veComLic.dll.
6. Запускаем ранее остановленные службы Veeam. Это производится нажатием на кнопку "Service" в keygen.exe, или стандартными средствами ОС через оснастку services.msc.

Issue 1 Direct SAN Access processing mode does not work for certain SAN makes and models.
Issue 2 Virtual Appliance (Hot Add) processing mode does not work when backup proxy is installed on localized version of Microsoft Windows.
Issue 3 Upgrade related issues affecting jobs created in v5 - poor incremenal backup performance, and large VIB file created on the first incremental run.
